“Sift the Evidence…”

Quick look at the next Proverb.

Pro 20:8
A king who sits on the throne of judgment
winnows all evil with his eyes.
ESV

Hummm…

So, we have a king.
His is sitting on the throne of judgment.
He is judging.
He examines all things.

Look at a different translation…

Pro 20:8
When a king sits in judgment, he weighs all the evidence,
distinguishing the bad from the good.
NLT

There ya go.

He judges by weighing all the evidence.
He discerns good from evil.

Do we?

Do we weigh things in the Spirit?
Or…
Do we respond in the flesh?

Do we sift good from evil?
