“Three Months”

Blessings folk!

Elizabeth broke forth in prophetic praise upon hearing the greeting of Mary.
The baby, John, lept within her.

Mary broke forth in praise at what was revealed to Elizabeth and what had happened to herself.

Both declare the wonder and glory of the workings of God.

The next verse says…

Luke 1:56
And Mary remained with her about three months and returned to her home.
ESV

Remember, Elizabeth was six months along when Gabriel appeared to Mary.
Mary goes to Elizabeth.
Mary stays about three months.

Sounds like she was there until the birth of John?

Mary returned home…about the time she would start “showing”.
Can you imagine?
Had she told her family yet?
Had she told Joseph yet?
