“This Is the Antichrist”

Blessings folk!

John continues.

It is really important that we pay close attention to each verse…each phrase…each word…

There are tremendous truths being revealed and developed.
Remember the context that we have seen to this point.

1 Jo 2:21
I write to you,
not because you do not know the truth,
but because you know it,
and because no lie is of the truth.
ESV

He is writing to them, not because of ignorance of the truth, but because they do know the truth.
No lie is of truth.
They know this.

Remember the context…antichrists among them, those who had left them.

1 Jo 2:22
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?
This is the antichrist,
he who denies the Father and the Son.
ESV

Who is the liar?
The one who denies that Jesus is the Christ.

Who is the antichrist?
The one who denies the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ.

Now, I want you to think on this.
Think deeply.

Think on what is happening politically today.
Think on what is happening within the Church today, especially the western church.

Take it to the Lord.
