“Head of Gold”

Blessings folk!

Now, let’s look closer at the interpretation the Lord gave Neb via Daniel.

Dan 2:36-38
“This was the dream.
Now we will tell the king its interpretation.

You, O king, the king of kings,
to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom,
the power,
and the might,
and the glory,

and into whose hand he has given,
wherever they dwell,
the children of man,
the beasts of the field,
and the birds of the heavens,
making you rule over them all—you are the head of gold.

This would have immediately arrested Neb’s attention.
He is the king of kings!

But, then this truth.
This would have challenged and rattled all who heard…”the God of heaven has given the kingdom…”

Neb did not earn it.
It…the kingdom…was given…granted…to him by the God of Heaven.
The God that gave the dream.
The God that gave the interpretation.
The God that granted all things to Neb.
The God that gave power.
The God that gave might.
The God that gave glory!

But, there is more.

The God of Heaven had given to Neb all they that dwell.
The children of man.
The beasts of the field.
The birds of the heaven.

God had given Neb rule over them all.

Neb is the head of gold.

This gives us understanding…do you see…?
